After his family was rescued and brought to Silentclan Nightclaw was very untrusting of everyone in the clan. He wouldn't let cats near him without hissing or trying to make them go away and was hesitant to accept any form of help despite being malnourished.   Additionally it was clear that his mother didn't want much to do with him even after recovering somewhat from her injuries. A concerned warrior named Littlewind attempted to bond with the kit acting as a surrogate mother the best she could. At first this was not very successful due to Nightclaw's very untrusting nature however eventually he came around enough to feel comfortable and safe in Littlewind's paws.

Needed to draw these two together ^^ I really love their relationship, it really is very sweet and caring. When he's grown up, Nightclaw has a lot of respect for Littlewind, while Littlewind sees Nightclaw almost as a son of her own. Honestly it's a shame she doesn't have more of a role in his later life.
